2014 Nevada Transition Conference Vendor Registration

The Nevada Department of Education is proud to sponsor the 2nd Annual Nevada Transition Conference, Youth In Transition…Preparing For Tomorrow. The professional development conference is a partnership event with the Nevada Center for Excellence in Disabilities (NCED). The conference will be held on Friday, September 19 and Saturday, September 20, 2014 in Reno. This year’s event will bring quality professional development on current trends and best practices in the transition planning process to Nevada’s youth and young adults with disabilities and their family members, educators, state agency staff and service providers. This event will include national speakers as well as state and local experts. Topics covered at this year’s conference will include: (1) aligning accommodations & supports, (2) building knowledge, engagement & empowering families, (3) employment, (4) models for success, (5) post-secondary education& training, and (6) transition & career assessment.

VENDOR OPPORTUNITIES

Vendors are invited to participate in the 2014 conference on Saturday, September 20th. Vendor set-up will be available beginning 6:30 AM, and must be torn down by 5:00 PM. Participants will have the opportunity to visit with vendors in between sessions, and before and after keynote presentations. There will be raffle prizes to encourage participants to visit vendor booths.

REGISTRATION FEES

Registration fees are $125 for for-profit vendors, $50 for Micro-enterprises and free for non-profit vendors. Registration includes a six foot table and registration for two individuals to represent their company (including meals).
